Uncle Samuel

My favorite outfit for Mario in the new Smash Bros. is the patriotic outfit from NES Open Tournament. It's not just the fact that it's so American that it tastes like pancakes; it's also the fact that the outfit is a nice reference to an old game and is also very memorable since it involves patterns instead of just two colors.
I thought it might be kinda cool to draw my OC, Samuel (son of Dr. Mario and Samus) in the patriotic outfit in preparation for American Independence Day tomorrow. _{Though since he's the son of an Italian plumber from the Mushroom Kingdom and a woman from another planet who was raised by bird aliens, I don't think he's American.}
