Marcy's Mash

A few weeks ago, my Mom and I were watching a TV show about how different foods are made. One of the products they showed was Cherry Mash. For those unfamiliar with it, it has a center made of finely-mashed maraschino cherries and a coating made of chopped peanuts and chocolate. I thought that sounded tasty and my Mom informed me that my Dad really likes them. So when he and I went to lunch a few weeks ago, I stopped at a candy store near the restaurant and picked up a Cherry Mash for him and one for me. After we ate, I unwrapped my Cherry Mash on the way back to school. It was really good. The flavors were all bold yet balanced. It's not a candy I would actively seek out, but I would buy it if I saw it at a store since it was really good.
With the delicious cherry flavor, I think Marcy would enjoy having Cherry Mash. Cherries are her favorite fruits, as have established many times, so a chocolate with a cherry center would be perfect for her.
