Grandpa Polari

To be honest, Polari was one of my favorite characters in Super Mario Galaxy. While Rosalina is my favorite and deserves all the love and praise she gets, I still think Polari deserves some attention and appreciation, too. While Rosalina provides Mario and Luigi with the means to save Peach, Polari is the one who helps explain how the things work to the brothers. His design also helps him stand out from the rest of the Lumas.
Ever since I created Candy, I've always thought Polari would be a grandfather to her (or any of Rosalina's biological children). Maybe it's because Polari seems to be the oldest Luma, maybe it's because I always felt Polari's advisor position made him seem like a pseudo-father figure for Rosalina...But whatever the case, I think he would act like a grandfather to Rosalina's biological children.
Which brings us to today's picture. As many of you know, my favorite character by MewMaster1997 is his Luma OC, Sol the Orange Luma. I had considered making a picture simply of the two Lumas, but then I thought, "Why go with only Sol?" And so I included Rosalina and Brandon's children, May and Blizz. They must be excited to see their grandfather.
